Story-FCS Race Report #21

Callaway-Kyle Dudley got the lead on the first lap and never looked back Saturday night at Franklin County Speedway. Dudley won the 25-lap Late Model Stock feature.

   Ken Frohm finished second, after surviving a late race spin with Rusty Gaspard of Floyd, who finished third.

   Jason Lumsted of Rocky Mount was a first time winner, taking the 25-lap Mini Stock feature. David Duncan of Rocky Mount finished second.

   Ron Ponton of New Castle won the 25-lap Pure Stock race. Ponton had one of the largest victory lane celebrations in recent memory. Last weeks winner Daniel Givens finished second.

    Billy Holder, Jr. of Sutherlin won Twin 20-lap Rookie U-Car features. Jason Quintrell of Boones Mill was second in both races.

Other Winners: Jeff Woods-Super U-Car, Tony Housman-Regular-U-Car, Harley Blankenship, Kids U-Car, Jennifer Chitwood, Mini Cup,  Jason Roach-Any Car.

   Racing returns to the speedway Saturday night at 7PM.
