2012 UPDATED Street Stock Rules
NO TUBE FRAMES, STOCK CHASSIS ONLY
Stock chassis cars 3000 lbs with 1300 right side.
No rebuidable shocks.
Quick change is run add 50 lbs.
5 inch ride height
604 crate motor with 390 carburator or 500 Holly.
Pure stock built motor box stocked 500 carburator.
8 inch rims
880 Hoosier tires.
Bodies
Aftermarket bodies or body parts allowed.
Maybe fabricated from sheet metal.
Grills must be fabricated.
All cars must have fire walls and floor pans.
Body mounts may be removed.
Kick panels are required.
Hood, deck lids, doors,
front fenders and bumpers may be skinned out.
Trunk compartments must be sealed off.
Drivers compartment by sheet metal, with no holes in it.

Ucar (previously super ucar)
1. Franklin County Speedway’s new front wheel drive Ucar (Super U-Car) division for Import and American cars that allows certain performance modifications, but still keeps racing very affordable.
2. The division is an advanced division like Mini Stock or Mod-4 and is open to any driver no matter their driving experience.
3. Competing Models 1980 and later American & Import Front Wheel Drive-
4-Cylinder cars, with a wheelbase of at least of 105 inches.
4. No Rear Wheel drive, Station Wagons, Vans, or Trucks allowed.
5. No All-Wheel Drives allowed.
6. Engine must be from the same manufacture as the car.
7. Engine may have aftermarket add-ons.
8. 4-Cylinder Motors only. No 6-Cylinder motors allowed.
9. Engine can be rebuilt with a .30 overbore allowed.
10. Single and Dual Overhead cams allowed.
11. No turbos or superchargers allowed.
12. Engine swaps allowed as long as it comes from the same manufacture
13. Headers allowed. Exhaust must exit under the car near the rear tire.
14. Cold Air Intake allowed.
15. Stock transmission only. Straight or Automatic allowed..
15. Steel flywheel only.
16. Racing clutch allowed.
17. Stock ECM.
18.Racing gas allowed.
19. No MSD boxes.
20.Windshield must be glass or Lexan.
21. Stock body only. NO steel or fiberglass body.

30. Racing wheels allowed. (2 or 4). If you run all four racing wheels you must run all the same offset and if you run two racing wheels they must be on the right side only and stock wheels of the same size on the left.
31. Backspacing of 2.5 inches allowed.
32. Full 6-point roll cage required. 3- bars on left driver side and 2- bars on right side made of 1¾ inch 0.95 thick roll bar tubing.
33. Racing seat required.
34. 5 point racing harness required.
35. Weight. 2000-lbs. Minimum.
36. Speedway Officials have the right to add or reduce the cars weight as they feel necessary to make for more competition.
37. Speedway has the right to add or change the rules as they see necessary.

MINI CUP RULES
Franklin County Speedway 2012 Mini-Cup Rules (track reserves right to add or subtract or change any rule at any time to promote fair competition)
1. All cars must have bodies that are securely mounted and appear level and centered. Bodies can be made of fiberglass or plastic.
2. Minimum length of 95” maximum length 120”
3. Must have securely mounted front and rear Lexan Windows with no holes in either
4. Must have top access lid securely hinged in front.
5. Must have clearly visible numbers on both sides and roof. Minimum size of 12”
6. Must have securely mounted mirrors and window nets on both left and right side.
7. Must have firewall and deck lid completely separating driver from engine.
8. 28” minimum roof height.
9. 49” maximum width 40” minimum width.
10. Wheel base measured from center of front axle to center of rear axle with front tires straight. Must be no less than 58” and no more than 63”
11. 15 X 7 X 8 racing slick tires only
12. Seat must be securely mounted to frame and/or role cage
13. Must have 5 point racing harness securely mounted to frame and/or roll cage
14. Must have full metal securely mounted floor pan.
15. Battery must be securely fastened so as to stay in place even in rollover.
16. Must have full perimeter 4 point halo type role cage minimum 1” tubing.
17. Must have foam filled securely mounted fuel cell located behind firewall.
18. Honda or clone 11 or 13 hp (GX340 or GX390) OHV engine only. 394 maximum cc
19. Honda OEM type carburetor with maximum venturi size of .925” mounted directly to engine with stock OEM black phenolic spacer.
20. Gasoline only. No alcohol.
21. Stock Honda or clone crankshaft only.
22. Crank mounted centrifugal clutch only. No torque converters or transmissions.
23. Single one piece sprocket driven axle only with all hubs secured with keyways. No floating components. Minimum of single rotor rear brakes required.
24. No air allowed to enter the engine after the air filter.
25. Full suspension or rigid frame allowed. Track reserves the right to run and score these cars separately or together.
26. Car and driver must weigh NO LESS than 650Lbs if full rigid suspension. Suspension cars must weigh no less than 700Lbs. All added weight must be securely fastened to frame or roll cage.
ANY CAR RULES
All cars must be completely factory stock, bumper to bumper with no high performance engine options allowed and no modifications to body, chassis, or engine allowed.
1. All glass must be removed before coming to the track except inside mirror and a full windshield which are required.
2. No outside mirrors allowed.
3. All driver must wear a safety helmet.
4. A fire retardant driver’s suit is recommended.
5. All doors must be bolted or welded shut.
6. All cars must have seat belts or shoulder belt and must have a window net that meet safety requirements.
7. Tire must be eight (8) inches width street legal, straight tread only. No snow or knobby tires allowed.
8. Wheels must be seven (7) inches maximum width made of steel only. Must all be the same height (14 or 15 inch) and must all four be same offset. No modification to wheels are allowed. (All (4) tires must be the same size.)
9. No trucks, vans, or station wagons allowed.
10. No bars are allowed any place except driver’s area only. There cannot be any extensions through front or rear fire walls.
11. There cannot be any metal removed from any place in car.
12. There cannot be any adding of weight any place in car.
13. All cars must have a legible number painted on the doors and roof. Numbers should be 2 ½ to 3 inches wide and 24 inches high. No three digit numbers.
14. All cars must be completely cleaned of shattered glass or any other debris before they will be allowed in the track.
15. The top three cars must pass a technical inspection after the race. Decision of the technical inspectors will be final regarding legality.
16. All cars will start the race in the order in which they register. First come first serve.
Any car that does not meet the following requirements will forfeit all prize monies, as well as contingency monies, trophies and all points earned in that race.
1. The car must be completely stock.
2. The car must meet all specifications and safety requirements set
forth in these rules.
3. The car must come directly to the inspection area after the race.
4. Everyone associated with the car must exhibit sportsmanlike conduct at all times.
